Name

Das Unternehmen FatDB/FatCloud hat im Februar 2014 seine Tätigkeit beendet. FatDB wurde eingestellt und erscheint deshalb nicht mehr im Ranking.

Kurzbeschreibung

dBase war eine der ersten Datenbanken mit einer eigenen Entwicklungsumgebung auf PC's. Die letzte Version dbase V wird als dBase classic weiter vertrieben und benötigt eine DOS-Emulation. Das aktuelle Produkt ist aber dBase Plus.

Ein .NET NoSQL DBMS, das in SQL Server integriert werden kann.

Open source RDBMS, das zu MySQL anwendungskompatibel ist und zusätzliche Features wie Hochverfügbarkeit, Security, Interoperabilität und Performanceverbesserungen aufweist. Mit MariaDB ColumnStore bietet es auch eine spaltenorientierte storage engine
