Firebird is an open source RDBMS forked from Borland's InterBase

Multithreaded, transactional RDBMS written in Java

also known as HSQLDB

A highly scalable full ACID SQL database with fast NoSQL data ingestion and GIS capabilities

Titan is a Graph DBMS optimized for distributed clusters.
