Created as commercial project in 2013, FoundationDB has been acquired by Apple in March 2015 and was withdrawn from the market. As a consequence, the product was removed from the DB-Engines ranking. In April 2018, Apple open-sourced FoundationDB and it therefore reappears in the ranking.
Description | Converged and high performance database for device data, events, time series, document and graph | Ordered key-value store. Core features are complimented by layers. | Apache Ignite is a memory-centric distributed database, caching, and processing platform for transactional, analytical, and streaming workloads, delivering in-memory speeds at petabyte scale. | A Graph DBMS optimized for distributed clusters It was forked from the latest code base of Titan in January 2017 | Based on PostgreSQL enhanced with MPP and write-scale-out cluster features
