Created as commercial project in 2013, FoundationDB has been acquired by Apple in March 2015 and was withdrawn from the market. As a consequence, the product was removed from the DB-Engines ranking. In April 2018, Apple open-sourced FoundationDB and it therefore reappears in the ranking. | GeoSpock seems to be discontinued. Therefore it will be excluded from the DB-Engines ranking.
Description | Ordered key-value store. Core features are complimented by layers. | Spatial and temporal data processing engine for extreme data scale | A drop-in replacement for MongoDB Community Edition with enterprise-grade features. | Industry standard data logging and graphing tool for time series data. RRD is an acronym for round-robin database. The data is stored in a circular buffer, thus the system storage footprint remains constant over time. | A key-value store forked from RocksDB with advanced compression algorithms. It can be used standalone or as a storage engine for MySQL and MongoDB
