Created as commercial project in 2013, FoundationDB has been acquired by Apple in March 2015 and was withdrawn from the market. As a consequence, the product was removed from the DB-Engines ranking. In April 2018, Apple open-sourced FoundationDB and it therefore reappears in the ranking.
DescriptionMaxCompute (previously known as ODPS) is a general purpose, fully managed, multi-tenancy data processing platform for large-scale data warehousingOpen-source analytics data store designed for sub-second OLAP queries on high dimensionality and high cardinality dataOrdered key-value store. Core features are complimented by layers.A key-value store forked from RocksDB with advanced compression algorithms. It can be used standalone or as a storage engine for MySQL and MongoDBA horizontally scalable, ACID transactional, document database available both as a fully managed cloud service and for deployment on self-managed infrastructure
