Hawkular metrics is the metric storage of the Red Hat sponsored Hawkular monitoring system. It is based on Cassandra.

High performant column-oriented DBMS for analytic workloads using MySQL or PostgreSQL as a frontend

DBMS for the Web with a mechanism to push updated query results to applications in realtime.

A distributed fault-tolerant database service, with high availability, scalability, immediate consistency and ACID transactions and providing an Amazon DynamoDB compatible API
