An enterprise grade, high-performance RDBMS

MySQL fork with a pluggable micro-kernel and with an emphasis of performance over compatibility.

Firebird is an open source RDBMS forked from Borland's InterBase

Multi-storage database for search, including full-text search.

Riak TS is a distributed NoSQL database optimized for time series data and based on Riak KV
